A community of educators empowering students to take climate action

Patrick's Virtual Visit

'Patrick’s Virtual Visit' is a Fairtrade Foundation resource for 7-11 year olds based around an interactive video and associated activities. The video introduces Patrick, a tea farmer from Kenya, who discusses how climate change impacts the industry he works in and the place where he lives.

Activities include using maps to find out where tea is grown, a Negotiating Game to show the power of working together, and a Consumer Power activity to help teach children both about the power they have as consumers, and how we can all make difference with our shopping choices.
