A community of educators empowering students to take climate action

About Transform our World

Transform Our World is part of the Generation Action work coordinated by environmental charity Global Action Plan which has the aim that by 2030, every child will leave school prepared to act collectively for the good of people and planet.

Comprising of an extensive library of teacher-reviewed learning resources from partner organisations, a range of free online events for educators and a bi-weekly newsletter, Transform Our World communicates regularly with our large community of educators.

In addition to keeping environmental educators informed and well-resourced, Transform Our World also runs a programme of work in schools across England to engage young people in youth social action.

Once a year the Transform Our World Youth Summit brings young people together online for sessions on climate learning, discovery and action.

Transform Our World is funded through the #iwill Fund, which is made possible thanks to £66 million joint investment from The National Lottery Community Fund and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to support young people to access high quality social action opportunities.

We are also grateful for support from The Ernest Cook Trust and The Garfield Weston Foundation.
