Meet the YCS host schools: Nelson Primary School
Posted by : Transform our World

Nelson Primary School is a four-form entry school in East Ham, London. We value the diversity of our school community; celebrating and welcoming difference.

We endeavour to enable each child to discover the joy of learning; helping them to fulfil every aspect of their potential and to encourage their growth into effective and confident citizens, ready to play their part in the world and their community. We want our children to become global citizens by sharing responsibility and taking ownership of their world.

At Nelson we believe it is vital that we teach our children about the world around them and how their actions and learning can lead to a better, more sustainable, and greener future for us all.

We are thrilled to be hosting the Youth Climate Summit because it is vital that our pupils understand the importance of their role as global citizens in environmental change.
