We'd like to invite you to the first in a series of Transform Our World online teacher events, which we will be hosting throughout the year.
Join former teacher Rachel Musson from ThoughtBox Education for a free teacher CPD session on Thursday 11th February from 4.30-6pm.
This session will guide you through a range of practical ideas to support you in talking and teaching about some of the biggest social and environmental issues of our time.
In this training, you will learn how to:
- Talk about big and tricky issues with young people
- Create the spaces, skills and opportunities to talk about and teach about big issues such as the climate crisis or social justice
- Develop facilitation tools as a method of discussing the emotions of social and environmental issues
- Develop frameworks to build emotional resilience and skills for adaptability
- Help yourself and young people move from anxiety to a space of empowerment
