On the last Thursday of January, we welcomed the Irish Schools Sustainability Network to our student committee meeting which is held every fortnight and regularly attended by 20 student representatives from across the network.
The UKSSN students also shared their own experiences of the different projects they had gotten involved in within the last year ranging from their trip to COP26, their response to the DFE’S Climate change and sustainability strategy, their latest book review & interview of Mya-Rose Craig aka Birdgirl and the previous summer residential to Wytham Woods
In addition to this, the students still had enough time to connect with each other through icebreaker activities and breakout room discussions. All in all, it was a successful evening for the two networks.
