The Tailor’s Button -SDG 12

Responsible Production and Consumption

Session collaborated by Little Hands Design/Haileybury Almaty

Session for primary schools

The holes in our clothes are the stories of our lives. The emotional value of the things we buy and why taking care of how things are made, bought and disposed of matters beyond the price we pay in the shop.
Georgie Rees Director of Sustainable Fashion charity Little Hands Design and Astrid Jacoby founder of Little Hands Design and now Sustainability coordinator of Haileybury Almaty International School are joined with their student ambassadors to share with you and discuss a traditional Jewish story that has
been told all over the world for centuries.
The ‘Tailor’s Button’ - this story helps us understand the Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Production and Consumption
