Have you ever wanted something to change in society, but just didn't know where to start? This session will look at practical ways to challenge power, including a letter writing masterclass on how to contact those in power, from MPs to local councillors. The session will also look at how we can persuade our leaders to do more through sharing our stories of action.

The UK Schools Sustainability Network (UKSSN) is an umbrella organisation of regional networks of school staff and students across the UK, and is hosted and supported by environmental charity Global Action Plan. The regional networks are run at grassroots level - often centred around a hub school. The networks provide students and staff with a way to connect with peers, share ideas and resources, collaborate on local, national and international sustainability initiatives, and develop personal, social and workplace skills.
