A community of educators empowering students to take climate action

Midlands Schools Sustainability Network

MSSN logo

The Midlands Schools Sustainability Network (MSSN) set up in November 2020 around the time of the Youth Climate Summit. Students meet fortnightly for an hour on Thursday evenings to share initiatives in their own schools, hear about local issues and plan joint projects. MSSN members have organised youth conferences and regularly take part in UK-wide research and events.

MSSN will be working closely with two new networks launching in autumn 2021 in Greater Manchester and the Mersey Region.

Calling Midlands students and staff: get in touch if you’d like your school to join!
Note: students should ask a teacher to get in touch on their behalf or use a school email address copying in a teacher
