A community of educators empowering students to take climate action

Make a Meal of It

'Make a Meal of It' is an activity and follow up lessons which aims to engage, educate and empower young people to make responsible choices about the food on their plates. Students will investigate food waste at their school, collecting and comparing data, thinking about food origins and student preferences and creating an action plan to reduce the amount of food going to landfill. It also provides ideas for integrating the theme across all subject areas, enabling you to keep the environmental momentum throughout the term!
