A community of educators empowering students to take climate action

Talking About Values in the Classroom

Talking about values in the classroom’ is a resource using stories to help develop students’ skills in thinking and talking about moral issues.

Talking together in class about moral issues in an atmosphere of care and concern is a very effective way of nurturing a reflective attitude to life and developing empathy. Group discussions are also very useful ways of demonstrating how individual interests are closely bound up with the interests of others and the group as a whole.
