Palm oil is in everything. Biscuits, bread, ready meals, chocolate spread, peanut butter, shampoo, lipstick, soap, deodorant…the list goes on and on. But where does it come from? And what impact is producing it having on the environment?
Using this resource, students will investigate products that contain palm oil, the huge environmental impact of its production, and the alternative; sustainable palm oil. They will consider how their daily choices effect communities and the environment around the world and then work out what they can do to take action!
