What are your climate cares?
With Imperial College London
Session for secondary schools
This session is part of a wider research project that aims to investigate the psychological responses of young people to the global crisis of climate change and their relationship with taking action. The research project is run by the Institute of Global Health Innovation, Grantham Institute for Climate Change and Centre for Environmental Policy of Imperial College London. One of our research tools, which we plan to pilot in our workshop with students, is a co-designed guided journal in which young people document their lives in a safe space and reflect on them. We will pilot four short activities that will help participants consider their emotions, record coping strategies, imagine a better future and develop their own action plan during the live session. We will also welcome feedback from our participants on how to better adapt the journal to their needs.
This resource helps support the below Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
