The Big Food, Farming & Environment Quiz
With South London Botanical Institute
Session for primary schools
The Big Food, Farming and Environment Quiz will take a look at issues such as how our food is produced, how much is eaten and wasted, how it's packaged and what we can do to rethink the way our food is grown and consumed.
Founded in 1910, the South London Botanical Institute has a beautiful botanical garden and runs a wide range of courses, workshops, school visits and events for visitors of all ages to learn about plants.
BEFORE THIS SESSION:
Teachers can prepare for the quiz by sorting their class or group into smaller groups of 2-3 children, each group with paper and pencil. There are 10 questions in the quiz so they could write the numbers 1-10 on the sheet in preparation for when the quiz starts.
