These resources are designed specifically with home learning in mind. They haven't been through our usual Transform Our World teacher review process yet but we think they're great and we hope you enjoy them too!

Send My Friend To School

This activity asks young people to think critically about one of the biggest reasons why 260 million children around the world do not go to school, and work out the best solutions to ensure every child has the right climate to learn.

AimHi

AimHi provides live, interactive, online lessons for children ages 8+ from inspirational speakers such as Dr Jane Goodall and George Monbiot. Sign up to receive the weekly schedule.

Clean Air Reporter Challenge

Help students to become young reporters, gathering evidence to send to the government and local businesses to help build safer and cleaner cities post-lockdown. Part of the #BuildBackCleanerAir campaign.

The School Run Scandal

Students will take part in STEM linked activities that collect data that directly feeds into Global Action Plan’s response to the government’s consultation on the phase out of the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles.

Rainforest adaptations

This lesson plan from The Eden Project challenges students to think more deeply and creatively about challenges that organisms face in their habitats and their adaptations.

Digital Ocean School

Surfers Against Sewage are releasing weekly timetables until the end of July for Key Stage 1, 2 and 3, with live sessions being hosted on Facebook and Instagram. Topics include Plastic Pollution and Marine Food Chains.

Green corridors

This resource from Outdoor Classroom Day will help you teach Lower Primary students about habitat fragmentation and wildlife corridors.

Discovering Galapagos

Inspire and engage students in the sustainable development of Galapagos and the wider world using this website from the Galapagos Conservation Trust and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG).

WWF's Educational activities to enjoy from home

Each week, WWF will be posting new and engaging ways to connect to nature from home. These include fun and insightful webinars with WWF experts and links to other educational materials.

Roots and Shoots - Learn from Home Schedules
