Norfolk and Suffolk Eco Schools Network (NSEN) hosts East Norfolk Sixth Form College has secured funding to purchase a Greenpower kit car which will be used to engage students into STEM pathways and future careers.
The funding will support the delivery of a series of special workshops for students across NSEN and other schools to engage in the development of the design, build and testing of the kit car.
The kit car equipment is made to be used over and over again. Once designed, built and race, the team break the car back down into its components ready for a new group to take the challenge on the following year which means the project can be run over many years. As the project develops, the aim is to support other schools in investing in their own kits.
