NEWS & STORIES
Ditcham Park School Petersfield is a co-educational Independent School for boys and girls aged 2½-16 situated in the middle of the South Downs National Park.
The school has a strong interest in environmental and sustainability education. We have supported our pupils in attending climate strikes and in lobbying local politicians about the need for change. Last year we hosted a conference for local schools called The Hopeful Earth Conference, an event covered by the BBC. At the conference we created a pledge that we asked all schools to commit to.
Last year, we planted over 700 wildlife friendly trees on our school site and our STEAM Programme is working on a rewilding project for areas of our school grounds. Our Environment Committee is made up of pupils, staff, parents and governors.
We are thrilled to lend our support to the Youth Climate Summit.
