Introduction to Community Connected Learning
(17/01/22)
Posted by : Transform Our World

Wednesday 9th February 2022, 4pm-5pm

Community Connected Learning (CCL) is a form of experiential learning where students collaborate to address societal challenges as part of their broader education. Drawing on a rich tradition of youth social action and service learning, students develop youth voice and leadership skills, supporting their peers and building a deep sense of agency and purpose to drive their learning and benefit the world around them.

This interactive Community Connected Learning session is being hosted by Edge Foundation for teachers, senior leaders, PHSE and community engagement leads.

Join the session to:

  • Understand what Community Connected Learning is
  • Explore some of the core elements, key concepts, and design principles
  • Highlight examples and stories of best practice in CCL pedagogy from the UK and USA
  • Discover how you might bring CCL to your classroom

Sign up and join online on Wednesday 9th February at 4pm.

The session will not be recorded, to allow for open conversation.
