About H2O Heroes

Run in partnership with Thames Water, H2O Heroes, gives students in London the skills and support they need to design their own behaviour change campaign to get their fellow students and local community taking action to save water at school and in their local communities. We run workshops with students to get them thinking about how sustainable our water supply is, and encourage them to talk to their peers, teachers and family members about this issue. This helps students spot the ways that people waste water, such as showering for longer than five minutes. Using this knowledge, they put together an action plan to tackle water wasting behaviours in their school, and engage people from the school community along the way. Over the years we've seen many incredible, creative initiatives from whole school water days, to computer games, to pledge displays, and even rainwater collection competitions.
