You and your students are about to embark on an exciting challenge: reimagining what it means to live well while caring for people and planet.
In today’s fast-paced world, where social media, advertising and consumer trends constantly push us to want more, it’s easy to believe that happiness comes from having the latest clothes, makeup or technology. But is that really the key to living a fulfilling life?
Good life Schools gives young people the opportunity to explore the impact of our consumer-driven, digital society and take meaningful action for change. Through our six-step changemaking process, students will investigate, reflect and design new ways of living and learning – empowering them to shape a future that prioritises wellbeing over ‘stuff’.

Teacher guidance
Before you get stuck in, we've got a few bits of information and supporting documentation.
Get to know your Good Life Group
Step 1 welcomes you to the programme, helps you to discover your unique strengths and how you will work together in different roles throughout the project.
The Goods Life vs the Good Life
Step 2 explores how adverts, social media and the world around us can shape our idea of what a "good life" is. You will reflect on what a good life means to you, and get stuck into activities to improve your wellbeing.
Design a Good Life project
Step 3 uses everything you've discovered about the Good Life vs the Goods Life to identify the problems that affect you, your friends and your school, and design a Good Life project in response. Then put that project into action.
Celebrate and share your story
Step 4 takes you through reflecting on your proudest moments, celebrating your unique contribution and getting ready to share your story at a local Celebration Event.
It was nice, and important, to be part of the project because I can tell people I have played a part in helping the environment.
