How it works

Together, you will guide a group of students at your school through the Good Life Schools changemaking process:

  1. Get to know your Good Life Group
  2. The Good Life vs The Goods Life
  3. Design a Good Life project
  4. Celebrate and share your story

Not in a supported region?
You can still be part of the Good Life Schools Community

We know that interest in creating more connected and values-led school communities where young people can live happy, healthy and sustainable lives goes far beyond our currently supported regions. If your school is outside of the North East, South Yorkshire, the Midlands, or South Wales, we’d still love to hear from you. There are still plenty of ways to get involved in the Good Life Schools programme and join a growing national network of changemakers.

Join as a school

Our team are working hard to develop a Good Life Schools programme that you can deliver independently at your school. While our self-directed offer isn’t quite ready yet, here’s how you can stay connected and be the first to know when it is:

  • Sign up to our Good Life Schools newsletter. Stay in the loop with inspiring stories from schools already running the programme, practical ideas to use in your classroom, and updates on when our self-directed resources become available

Partner with us

If you’re part of a local authority or multi-academy trust working with a cluster of schools, we’d love to explore a partnership approach to bring the Good Life Schools programme to your area. Find out more about our partners.

Expression of interest

Let us know you’re keen to deliver the programme at your school. We’ll keep you updated and may even invite you to take part in early pilot opportunities or testing phases.

Thanks to National Lottery players, Global Action Plan received over £1.1m from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK, supporting the Good Life Schools project.
