Our academic advisors help guide Good Life Schools by making sure it’s based on solid research and truly benefits young people. They’re experts in areas like wellbeing, behaviour change and carbon measurement. They review our ideas, test our approach and make sure everything we do is effective, fair and relevant.

Lancaster University
Mike is the author of acclaimed books There is No Planet B: A Handbook for the Make or Break Years, and How Bad Are Bananas? The carbon footprint of everything. Mike will be supporting on capturing the ripple effect of Good Life Schools and advising on incorporating carbon measurement into the project from a values lens.
The next generation need to learn how to question all our social norms and to create an entirely new and sustainable approach to good living. That is the reason why the Good Life Schools project is so important.

University of Bath
Greg’s work focuses on human values, attitudes, prejudice, and family relationships. Greg will be advising on evaluation measurement.

Swansea University
Jennifer lectures in environmental management and sustainability and researches climate change education. Jennifer will be advising on the development of workshop resources and teacher education.

University of Leeds
Peter’s research focuses on imagination of alternative environmental futures and teaching for change. Peter will be advising on evaluation measurement, workshop resources and documentary capture.

University of Bath
Lukas’s current research focuses on how shared values can bring people together for a common purpose. Lukas will be advising on evaluation measurement.
