Good Life Schools helps young people navigate the pressure of consumer culture and think critically about what it really means to live well. The programme empowers young people to reimagine ways of living and learning that are good for us and good for the planet.
We provide ready-to-use resources to guide students through a 4-step changemaking process, providing structured sessions that teachers can easily run as part of weekly sessions. This makes it simple to embed the programme into existing timetables such as PSHE, citizenship, tutor time, enrichment or after school clubs.
The Good Life Schools project is an initiative that supports young people like us to live in ways that are good for the community and the planet. Through this project, we have gained a deeper understanding of the challenges associated with excess and have developed skills and knowledge to tackle these issues.

Good Life Schools supports students:
To further support schools on the programme, we offer free teacher training and student workshops led by members of your local community. These sessions provide practical skills, real-world perspectives and practical inspiration from people actively working towards positive change in your area.
If you’re interested in starting a whole-school conversation about wellbeing, sustainability and what it means to lead a good life in a world consumed by ‘stuff’, this programme is for you.
Thanks to National Lottery players, Global Action Plan received over £1.1m from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK, supporting the Good Life Schools project.
