The Goods Life

After exploring what makes a good life (Session 2), these activities will support your Good Life Group to reflect on the ‘goods life’ - a life full of material possessions. They will introduce your group to the concept of ‘excessive consumption’ and support them to explore what influences some people to consume too much.

Teacher Quotes

See what other teachers have said about this resource

Very applicable to the students' own lives, so they are able to be really engaged.

Teacher, Ark Burlington Danes Academy

The students learned about and became very engaged in the issues of over consumption and how young people like them are constantly bombarded by advertisements, encouraging them to buy the latest model of phone or the newest fashionable clothes. It encouraged them to start thinking about their own consumption and how this has an impact on their own lives but also on the environment.

This resource helps support the below Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
