This resource is designed for educators to introduce young people to the concept of values and allow them to discover their shared values with others in their group.
It was designed through a research project in collaboration with the University of Bath, building on recent empirical developments showing that people across ages and from around the world agree on the importance of values, such as protecting the environment, and that making people aware of these ‘shared values’ elicits a sense of connectedness and hope about the future.
This lesson resource is aimed at young people aged 12-18 and is designed to take 45 minutes, making it ideal for a PSHE lesson or similar.
