This resource is designed to help your students learn about Car Free Day and help raise awareness of it in the school community. Activities included are making a presentation, designing posters, and running a survey on Car Free Day to see how many students and staff changed their method of travelling to school.
Students will:
- Understand what Car Free Day is and why it is important
- Promote Car Free Day at school by:
- Presenting at assembly
- Running a survey on travel behaviours
- Designing posters to raise awareness
- Reflect on the successes and learnings from Car Free Day
