Learning from the Land - Everything Outdoors
Ernest Cook Trust
Session for Teachers
This session, led by outdoor learning charity the Ernest Cook Trust, is for teachers looking for guidance and inspiration in taking the curriculum outside. The session will offer suggestions in using school grounds and local green spaces, an overview of some of the health and safety and risk assessment considerations needed, ideas on taking different areas of the curriculum outside, and some practical solutions to the most commonly encountered barriers. The team of experience outdoor educators will be available for your questions at the end of the session to help you get outside with your pupils.
