Session for secondary schools
An introduction to community organising; a way to make meaningful change in your community for people and the environment! Hear the stories from other students who organised community campaigns in their colleges, and in some cases won! You will also be introduced to the key principles of community organising including; building power, meeting leaders and negotiating.

Organisation: My World My Home is a environmental leadership project for young people in Further Education (16-25), delivered by Friends of the Earth in partnership with Students Organising for Sustainability UK (SOS- UK). Through the project, students are coached through community organising principles to create and lead their own environmental campaigns in their college communities!
This resource helps support the below Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
