What does power mean to me?

We all hold many values and place importance on some more than others at different times of our lives. We may not realise it but power is a value and can influence the way we live our lives. This session will look at the values we all hold and how values affect our actions and behaviours.

Claire Arnott (she/her)

Claire Arnott is Senior Programme Manager of Youth and Schools at Global Action Plan, supporting young people internationally to take action for a more just, sustainable and compassionate world. Claire started her career as a Primary Teacher in Scotland, where she first developed an interest in global learning and a nurturing approach to education. She has since worked with schools, universities and charities, engaging young people with the topics of climate justice, trade, ethical consumption and sustainability. Claire has a Master’s degree in Education and International Development from the UCL Institute of Education.

Hannah Hooper (she/her)

Hannah Hooper is a climate activist and the Programmes Coordinator at Force of Nature - a youth non-profit mobilising mindsets for climate change. Hannah is also the founder of The Well-Being Body - an educational platform exploring personal and planetary well-being.
