A community of educators empowering students to take climate action

The power in all of us

Social action is happening all around us, and in recent years, young people have been a driving force in challenging the climate crisis through action. This session will be led by our Transform our World Youth Ambassadors (aged 11-16) who will explore what youth social action is, share examples of how they've taken action, and inspire you to make a change in your local area.

(Unfortunately there was an issue with the sound at the start of this video, please bear with us, it kicks in after a few minutes, and before the story starts. Please enjoy the subtitles and BSL in the mean time!)

This session is being delivered by:

Jenny Bailey

Jenny Bailey is Director, Author and Co-Founder at Tales from Mother Earth. In response to the climate crisis, Jenny created audio/picture storybooks for children from ages 3-10 years that feature a strong conversation message narrated by Mother Earth. Jenny wanted to encourage children to open their eyes to the wonders of nature and empower them by doing so, and is a mum of two young boys herself.  She is aware of the the importance of conservation, the beauty and fragility of the natural world, and of doing all we can to nurture and encourage the next generation to understand how precious nature is and connect with it on many levels.  Tales of Mother Earth have published three audio/picture storybooks published and have more planned for production in the years ahead.
