A community of educators empowering students to take climate action
This resource is designed to help your students learn about low pollution routes to school and create their own low pollution map to support healthier journeys to and from school. Activities included are visualising your route to school, drawing your route to school, drawing places in your local area, and creating a low pollution map.
Students will:
- Understand what a low pollution map is and why it is important
- Create their own low pollution maps by:
- Understanding what makes a good map
- Understanding key places of interest in their local area and drawing these
- Identifying the high and low pollution routes to school
- Write a description of their low pollution maps, so they can share these with the school community
