Campaign with us

We are clear on the need for change.

We want to see education systems that empower young people to create compassionate and sustainable societies. That is our vision. Our goal is for every child to leave school prepared to act collectively for the good of people and planet. This goal translates into three core campaign objectives:

  1. The National Curriculum for England develops the sustainability and climate change understanding, skills and values of all young people.
  2. Teachers are trained and parents supported on climate change and sustainability education.
  3. Education settings are guided by a locally agreed set of values.

To achieve our objectives, we first walk the talk through programmes like Good Life Schools that model the type of education we want to see more of in the world. Second, we take evidence from our own work to inspire, advise and influence politicians and policymakers.

We reach national level decision makers through pro-active participation with official consultation and review processes, direct engagement with MPs and Ministers, mobilising petitions and open letters on key policy issues, organising parliamentary events, and by establishing connections with key civil servants and relevant teams within Government departments.
