Hydrogen: The Green Fuel of the Future
With PPL PWR & UCL
Session for secondary schools
Dr Josh Bailey will explain the basics of fuel cells and hydrogen, before delving into current research and applications and potential improvements in the near future. He will illustrate hydrogen’s potential positive impact on the environment, and how it is beginning to be used for transportation (cars, buses, trains) and to decarbonise other industries. The aim will be to promote wider thinking about sustainable energy futures and encourage students to study STEM subjects at University level, so that we can build a greener world through science and technology.
