Energy saving at school
Freshford Church of England Primary School & Charity Energy Sparks
Session for primary schools
Year 6 pupils from Freshford Church School talk about their school's energy saving journey working with the charity, Energy Sparks. The pupils will talk about the actions they've taken to save energy in the classroom and the school kitchens, and their project to install solar panels on the school roof. They will also demonstrate how Energy Sparks has helped and motivated pupils at the school to save energy by presenting their smart meter data to show them when and how much they are using energy, and rewarding them for taking action to reduce energy.
