Get energized with PhD researcher Becky and understand how batteries are helping move the world toward a greener future. Becky will explain the workings of a battery inside-out. She will show how batteries are helping us to store energy in our homes and on the grid. She will highlight the different types and how they fit to different applications, introducing terms like energy and power. The aim of the session is to understand how research in batteries is important for combating climate change as well as making the charge last longer in our mobile phones
