Join our investigation of the car industry - School Run Scandal
With Global Action Plan
Supported by the FIA Foundation
Session for primary schools
Air pollution is the largest environmental health risk we face today. It causes heart and lung diseases, is linked to low birth weight and children’s lung development and may even contribute to mental health issues. The UK car industry is worth more than £82 billion and road transport is responsible for 80% of roadside NOx air pollution.
Join this session to learn about the formidable power of the student voice and how investigating the role of the car manufacturing industry in air pollution is crucial to ensure that the voices of those effected by poor air quality are heard by those who can make decisions to improve it.
