Power isn't always used in a good way. It's important that we take care with the power that we hold and use it to spread kindness and positivity to those around us. This interactive session will look at examples of how young people have used their power in wonderful ways and how you can too.

Liz Godfrey (she/her)

Liz Godfrey is a Youth Engagement Officer at Global Action Plan working in schools across Manchester. Liz originally trained and worked as a Landscape Architect before moving on to a career in primary school teaching. Working in schools in Wakefield, Sheffield and Stockport, she looked for every opportunity to bring the outside world and the environment into the classroom. She loves working with pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds and educational needs and seeing each one progress and enjoy school.

Aneeshwar Kunchala (he/him)

7 Y Old Aneeshwar Kunchala has developed a passion towards the natural world since he was 4 years. Past 2 years, he has started to integrate more into the community to raise awareness about the conservation and sustainability through wellness activities – art, short wildlife documentaries and poetry, etc. He has addressed more than 30,000 live audience Britain Got Talent, other public forums and in various media channels to raise awareness and bring children and youth into conservation and sustainable living. He has created innovative social enterprise through his YouTube channel to drive and educate “protection of endangered animals from plastic pollution and deforestation. With his incredible natural world knowledge and interest, his social media posts spreads positivity, provides education to thousands of people in the community, schools and millions of people around the world. In addition, despite having COVID challenges, Aneeshwar has dedicated entire lockdown and raised £7000 for key workers by playing cricket for 400 overs in 10 days and later he has inspired more than 57 other children around the world and together cycled for 4500km.
