The Avon Schools Eco Network (ASEN) first met on Zoom in spring 2021 to discuss sustainability, get to know each other and work on joint projects that would make a difference in the region. Students meet fortnightly for an hour on Tuesday evenings. The group of Year 11 and 12 students from half a dozen schools are supported by local freelance educators and staff from Bristol and Bath schools and universities. There are close links with the Somerset Climate Justice Network, another member of the UK Schools Sustainability Network.

Calling students and staff from Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas: get in touch if you’d like your school to join!
Note: students should ask a teacher to get in touch on their behalf or use a school email address copying in a teacher

Students & staff attend meetings & events from:

  • Clifton High School
  • Clifton College
  • Bristol Cathedral School
  • QEH
  • Redmaids
  • Royal High Bath
  • SGS Filton
  • Sheldon School
